Our Mission

Revision 1.0

The purpose of the AA2022 Committee is to provide researched and factual recommendations to members of local AA districts and the Intergroup Council, for the growth of Greensboro Intergroup into an active and accessible office to better serve the needs of Alcoholics Anonymous members and groups in the Triad region in support of 12th Step work.

Our Vision

An Intergroup Office is an AA service office, that can involve partnership among and has the support of groups in adjacent district communities, in the same way as AA groups are partnerships of individuals. An Intergroup Office is established to carry out functions common to all the groups that are best handled by a centralized and adequately sized office, such as the sale of AA materials, committee meetings, and other AA related activities common to the groups as a whole. It is the responsibility of group members to maintain, supervise and support the office financially, as it is in their general interest to do so. In these ways, an Intergroup Office will exist to aid the groups in their common purpose of carrying the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers.
